As a veteran, I was overwhelmed by the video "The Ground Truth." One thing that puzzles me is the blackout on the 3 topics of Death, Drugs and Sex in the mid-east. 130,000 troops and no one ever mentions drug problems. Yet Afghanistan is the central opium producer in the world. Then there is the question of R&R. In Korea and Vietnam soldiers would go to Japan for R&R. What is happening in Iraq? Where are the brothels - in the Green Zone? Prostitution is never discussed by anyone. Why not. I figure the military must be setting up brothel houses for the troops like they have always done. And then, of course, there are never any real stats on the terrible price the citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan have had to pay as their cities and families are decimated and infrastructures destroyed while the private contractors reap in millions of dollars.

Who has the answers??????
